Palms 4, Braves 2
The Palms got another deep start, this one from Erik Bedard, and it was more than enough to secure victory. The Braves scored in the first on a solo home run from Cameron Maybin, but failed to make a dent for the next 7 innings against Bedard. The Palms scored twice in the first inning, but otherwise struggled against Trevor Cahill, who kept his pitch count low and was able to work 9 innings. Brett Hayes hit a home run that expanded the low, and meant Chris Johnson's homer in the 9th wasn't enough to tie things.
