Palms 9, Angels 3
The Palms earned the surprising sweep of the struggling Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The Palms once again worked their way through the series with a great deal of base hits, rather than several big blasts. The Palms nabbed 14 hits off of started Dan Haren and his relief. Dave Balierough scattered 9 hits in a complete game.
