Rays 2, Palms 1
After a series in which the Palms seemed to be able to score at will, it seemed as they were going to get off to a hot start against the Rays, scoring an early run off of Jeremy Hellickson. After that, the door was shut on the Palms. The Rays inched past the Palms when they plated a run off of Kevin Correia and Don Schoppe in the 7th. Neither bullpen was charged with allowing a run, however.
