Palms add a starter
The Palms are nearing an end to their offseason, though there is still some question as to what the plan is behind the plate. They have added former Padre Kevin Correia to take a position in the Palms rotation. At this time, he is expected to start either 2nd or third, behind Javier Vazquez and perhaps Troy Munoz.
Correia had something of a down year, but is typically expected to have an ERA in the 4's. He is a strikeout pitcher; his k/9 rate would be 2nd on the Palms last year behind only Vazquez. It's the kind of power arm that the Palms will really appreciate having in the rotation, and could be a good candidate for a bounce back season.
