Buddy Carlyle finds a new employer
The Palms' closer of the past two years has clamored to be moved back into a rotation somewhere. Having no spot for him, and little faith that he could fill the role vacated by Dallas Chastanet the Palms elected to non-tender Buddy Carlyle.
Carlyle found a new home, however, in Washington, with the Nationals, where he will compete for a role in the rotation behind young stud Stephen Strasburg. The Palms intend to look internally for a replacement in the closer role.
